Known or suspected breast or endometrial carcinoma, other hormone-dependent tumors, acute or chronic liver disease, history of liver disease, VTE diseases. Abnormal genital bleeding. Known or suspected pregnancy.
Physical exam & complete family & medical history should be taken. Mammography is advisable. Patients w/ epilepsy, migraine, cardiac failure, HTN, porphyria, hemoglobinopathies or otosclerosis, uterine leiomyomata, history of endometriosis.
